ZARANJ (Pajhwok): At least seven civilians were killed in a bomb blast in Khashrod district of western Nimroz province on Wednesday, an official said.
Haji Abdul Jalil Watandost, the district’s administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the district center at around afternoon.
He said the victims were all civilians and they were on their way to Kamarbandi city when the blast occurred. He added all the victims were above 20 years old.
He accused Taliban insurgents of planting the landmine in the area to target security forces.
