KABUL and hoped the outcome of this grand meeting would help the establishment of durable peace in the country.
Abdullah said some individuals taught they could win through war but it is a mistake, adding that some circles feared that after start of negotiation fighting will continue.
“We are compelled to implement your decisions; your decision has the value of life and death for the country. I hope you decisions will help implement durable peace in the country,” he said.
Abdullah said that international community was fully supporting the Afghan peace process and they were committed that Afghan government should claim responsibility for peace process and they will continue to support Afghanistan.
He said that very soon a consultative council will be formed and announced.
The CLJ began early on Friday in the attendance of 3,500 participants in capital Kabul to discuss the release of controversial Taliban prisoners.
The Taliban already rejected the CLJ and said such event could not represent the nation and had no legal importance before nation-wide peace and a political settlement.
