Public, private schools to reopen on August 22

KABUL plan for reopening schools, President Ashraf Ghani’s office said on Tuesday.

Attendance of grade 11 and 12 students of public schools, 7th to 12th pupils of night-shift schools and grade 1 to 12 students of private schools will begin on August 22, said the Presidential Palace.

Almost four months back, the government closed all educational institutes, private and government, due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

Several bodies were constituted to prepare reports on the expenses of the Consultative Loya Jirga, security of senior officials and distribution of armored vehicles and share them with the public.

The Ministry of Finance was instructed to submit a report on the number of respiratory device in the country's customs offices to the next cabinet session and the Presidential Palace.
