KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Security Council (NSC) on Wednesday met and discussed how to deal with magnetic bomb blasts and other national security issues.
Chaired by National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib, the meeting hailed security institutions for ensuring security during the Consultative Loya Jirga.
Mohib credited security forces for what he called successful security arrangements during a short time and added it demonstrated the enhanced capacity and capability of security forces.
The meeting also discussed the issue of magnetic bombings in the country as in Kabul alone 37 incidents of magnetic bombing had been recorded.
According to Kabul Police, 29 people including civilians and security personnel, had been killed and wounded as a result of the blasts.
