AIBAK/ MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Two nephews have been shot dead by a man after verbal clash in northern Samangan province while a woman has been found dead in central Kapisa.
Samangan police spokesman Munir Rahimi told Pajhwok Afghan News the two individuals were killed by their maternal uncle after a verbal clash over the inheritance issue.
He said initially the two entered their uncle’s house and thrashed him before escaping. The individuals were chased and shot them dead by their uncle Ghulam Sakhi in Aibak.
Munir said Sakhi managed to escape but police had launched a manhunt for him.
In Kapisa, four civilians, including a woman and three children, were wounded as a result of Taliban attacks in the Almaskhel Dara area of Tagab district.
Police spokesman Abdul Shaiq Yourish said the body of a 25-year-old woman was found in the Ashtargam area of Hesa-i-awal district of Kapisa this morning.
Separately, one Afghan Local Police member was killed as a result of a clash between the security forces and the Taliban in Nijrab district on Saturday night, Yourish said.
