MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Residents and Provincial Council members say only centres of most districts of northern Balkh province are under security forces’ control and the rest of remaining areas are influenced by Taliban militants.
They say the Taliban have been recruiting fighters in some areas they control and as a result insecurity has intensified like in the past.
