TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Taliban militants have banned supply of food and non-food items to the Chinarto district of central Uruzgan province over the past two months, with the trapped residents facing famine.
Residents of the district gathered in the Provincial Council hall in Tirinkot, the provincial capital, and urged the warning parties not use civilians as human shield and not to close roads.
