KABUL (Pajhwok): The administrative chief of Kabul’s Qarabagh district survived an armed attack on Thursday but one of his bodyguards was killed.
Khwaja Mohammad Hanif Sediqi confirmed the incident and said unknown gunmen attacked his vehicle and killed one of his security guard.
He said the incident happened at around 1:00pm in the Bagh-e-Areq locality.
Qarabagh is one of the Kabul’s districts where the Taliban presence had been confirmed.
