KABUL (Pajhwok): More than three dozen militants were killed in airstrikes in Faryab province on Wednesday, the Afghan National Army (ANA) said.
Afghan Air Force (AAF) struck Taliban’s meetings in restive Qaisar and Khwaja Sabzposh districts early in the morning, an ANA spokesman was quoted as saying.
At least 37 fighters, including three dreaded Taliban commanders Mullah Sadiq, Mullah Basir and Faizullah, were killed in the raids, the ANA spokesman told a Chinese news agency.
