JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The governor of eastern Nangarhar province on Thursday said ineffective and insufficient work had been done in the past to prevent land-grabbing and corruption in the province.
Meanwhile, the Nangarhar police chief said he had directed all district police commanders to increase liaison with people for maintaining security.
The two high ranking officials made these remarks during a meeting with police commanders of 22 districts at the provincial police headquarters in Jalalabad, the provincial capital.
The governor and the police chief assured their full support to the district police officers . . .
