GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least 14 Taliban militants have been killed and as many wounded during a clash and a bomb blast in southern Ghazni province, officials said on Monday.
Maj. Aimal Khan Momand, the 203rd Thunder Corps’ spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the insurgents stormed security check-posts in the Arzo area of the provincial capital late on Sunday night.
He said 10 militants were killed and another 11 wounded in retaliatory fire from the security personnel. Momand and civilians and security forces suffered no causalities . . .
