KABUL attacked a police check-post in the Afshar district of central Panjshir province on Tuesday and arrested some policemen, an official said.
District Chief Mohammad Suhrab Suhrab told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened before noon on Tuesday.
He said a 60-member group of Taliban stormed the Afshar district from neighbouring Nuristan province Prachghan district and arrested some people from the Tari locality of the district. The Taliban attacked some other villages as well.
