SHARAN (Pajhwok): For the first time ever, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) would install a radar system in southeastern Paktika province to control and monitor the country’s airspace.
Mohammad Khaees Aminzai, a technical representative of the CAA, told a meeting in Sharan, the provincial capital, the site had been identified and a preliminary survey had completed.
He said: “Three places have been identified in the PRT area of Sharan. A preliminary survey has also been carried out and the rest of the work will be completed . . .
