HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The Zinda Jan district administrative chief sustained injuries in a Taliban attack in western Herat province on Tuesday, a source said.
A local official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Haji Juma Gul came under Taliban ambush on his way to office this morning.
Without going into details, the source said the official, who could not be reached for comments immediately, was slightly wounded in the attack.
