JALALABAD (Pajhwok): One individual was killed and 10 others were wounded as a result of a traffic accident in eastern Laghman province on Wednesday, an official said.

Asadullah Dawlatzai, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident took place in the Gunapal Dara area of Alishang district in the morning.

He said a civilian vehicle overturned, killing one person and injuring 10 others. The injured were evacuated to hospital.
