MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen kidnapped head of moneychangers union in northern Balkh province on Tuesday, angering moneychangers to close their shops in protest.
Haji Abdul Qayyum was kidnapped in Mazar-i-Sharif City in the morning, said police spokesman Adel Shah Adel.
He told Pajhwok Afghan News that Haji Qayyum was on his way home from mosque in Sia Gard area when he was abducted in limits of 3rd police district.
He said police had launched investigation to rescue Haji Qayyum . . .
