JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least 10 individuals have been arrested in connection with land grab in the Rodat district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Wednesday.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that police detained the 10 people as they tried to initiate construction on the land they had seized.
Elsewhere, a suspect was detained with a pistol in Jalalabad, the provincial capital, Khogyani added.
According to another report, two suspects were held for having links with Daesh rebels in the Chaparhar district of the province.
