KABUL Reconciliation Process Zalmay Khalilzad said surge in violence was not acceptable and stressed over the reduction in violence.
In his video link address to the US Institute of Peace, Khalilzad said conflicting parties used violence as a tool for taking maximum advantage.
He renewed his call for reduction in violence and said: “I am engaged with both sides and I hope that they will consider ceasefire or reduction in violence as their priority in peace talks.”
He added surge in violence to hurt public trust on peace talks.
