HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has dismissed 46 police officials over negligence in duty, corruption and lack of commitment to performing their responsibilities, an official said on Saturday.
MoI's Assistant Security Chief Abdul Sabour Qani shared with media persons his assessment and outcome of visit and inspection of the overall security situation of Herat province.
He said in initial stage of his inspection 46 police personnel including the deputy police chief, three police chiefs of Herat City police stations and few other policemen were fired.
