LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Four policemen and a civilian have been killed in what appeared to be an insider attack in southern Helmand province, an official said on Monday.
A security official, who did not want to be unnamed, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Parchavi area of Nad Ali district late Sunday night.
The source added a policeman killed his colleagues and one civilian and took away all weapons and ammunition of the check-post.
Omar Zwak, the governor’s spokesman, also confirmed the incident, saying a delegation had been dispatched to the area for investigation.
