<p>GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Former police chief for Maqur district of southern Ghazni province was killed in an armed attack on Tuesday, an official said.</p>
<p>Wahidullah Jumazada, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Nazir Ghorzgan was killed in a gun attack at around 11:00am today (Tuesday).</p>
<p>According to some reports, Ghorzang served as police chief of Muqar district and 3<sup>rd</sup> police district chief but recently he has brought his letter as new chief for 4<sup>th</sup> police district of Ghazni city but yet to be introduced.</p>
<p>There was no immediate claim of responsibility for his killing.</p>
