CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): At least five individuals, including a woman, have been arrested in connection with drug trafficking in central Parwan province, an official said on Thursday.
Police spokesman Salim Noori told Pajhwok Afghan News that police detailed the five smugglers in the Ashkargah area of Salang district during a special operation.
He said police also seized 25 kilograms of hashish and 16 kilograms of opium the men, who wanted to smuggle the contraband to Kabul.
