Ghani in Sharan to assess Paktika situation

SHARAN (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani arrived in southeastern Paktika province on Saturday morning to assess the overall situation in the province.

Presidential spokesman Sediq Sidiqi tweeted that President Ghani reached Sharan, the provincial capital, at the head of a high-level delegation this morning.

The president is expected to address security officials, provincial authorities and tribal leaders during separate gatherings.
