KABUL embassy in Kabul on Tuesday voiced its concern at reports of Afghans getting injured as a result of a large number of applicants in streets outside its building.
“We sincerely sympathise with the people facing these difficulties,” the embassy said in a statement.
Due to the prevailing health are presently issuing visas to Afghans primarily on the grounds of health and family emergencies.
The Pakistani embassy and consulates are working with the relevant authorities in Pakistan to institute visa facilitation procedures for full implementation of the new policy approved by the cabinet.
It commended support from Afghan authorities with regard to the management of security arrangements for large numbers of visa applicants.
The embassy expected continued assistance from Afghan police and security agencies in ensuring the smooth operation of visa arrangements for an increasing number of applicants
