QALAT (Pajhwok): Six policemen, manning a check-post, have been killed in an insider’s attack in southern Zabul province, an official said on Wednesday.
A security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Baryam Manda area of Shahr-i-Safa district on Tuesday night.
He said that an infiltrator had shot dead six police personnel of a check-post. The attacker also took away weapons and ammunition of the slain policemen.
Taliban have not yet commented about overnight attack.
