JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A religious scholar was killed in a bomb blast inside his bedroom at a seminary in Sararud district of eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday, an official said.
The landmine blast killed Mualvi Ali Ahmad Mukhlis in Darul Ullom Zubair in Daghma area at about 9am today, said Attaullah Khogyani, the provincial government spokesman.
He said the blast seriously injured Mualvi Mukhlis who later succumbed to his wounds.
