KABUL have been killed and as many children wounded in a mortar attack in the Deh Rawood district of central Uruzgan province, an official said on Sunday.
A mortar shell struck a civilian house in the Zartala area of the district on Saturday night, said the governor’s spokesman, Ahmad Shah Sahil.
He accused the Taliban of firing the mortar shell at the house of a tribal elder. Two women were killed and two children injured in the incident.
