Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) in said the power pylon was blown up in the Kalat-e-Ghazi village of Ghoryan district on Wednesday night.
With the destruction of the pylon bringing electricity from Iran to Herat, 50 percent of the provincial population has been deprived of electricity supply.
