PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Former general Habib Andarabi, his son and driver were injured in a blast in this capital city of northern Baghlan province, police said on Friday.
Police spokesman Ahad Javed Basharat said Andarabi was travelling in Pul-i-Khumri city when a bomb planted on his vehicle went off last night.
The blast injured Andarabi, his son and driver and all of them were shifted to hospital, he said.
There was no claim of responsibility for the blast. Andarabi had previously served as general in the Ministry of Interior.
