KABUL strongly condemned what it called “mindless attack” on the Kabul University on Monday, which resulted in loss of so many precious lives and injuries to many more.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan termed the attack as an act of terrorism and despicable as it targeted an institution of learning.
At least 19 people were killed and 22 others wounded in the bomb and gun attack on the Kabul university.
The Pakistan Foreign Ministry statement said, “We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wish speedy recovery to the wounded. Our thoughts and prayers are also with the Afghan people in this hour of grief and sorrow.”
It said, “Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and will continue to support a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.”
