Wardak prosecutor gunned down in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok):  Unknown armed men shot dead a prosecutor of central Midan Wardak province in capital Kabul on Monday morning, an official said.

Jamshid Rasouli, Attorney General Office (AGO) spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News prosecutor Khawja Hanif Sediqi was attacked in limits of the 16^th police district of Kabul city.

He said the authorities concerned had been tasked with investigating the incident.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the assassination.
