Uprising commander injured, son killed in Balkh blasts

MAZAR-E-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Three people were killed and 16 others injured in two back to back blasts on local upraising members Commander Nazar Gul Khan in northern Balkh province, an official said on Thursday.

Governor Spokesperson Munir Farhad said two back to back blasts on Commander Nazar Gul Khan’s post in the Sholgar district left three people killed and 16 others injured.

Commander Nazar Gul’s son is among those killed in the blast while Nazar Gul himself got injured in the blasts.

Ahmad Walli, the resident of locality, said Commander Nazar Gul’s son was killed and his security guard injured in two magnetic bomb blasts.

He added injured people were Commander Nazar Gul’s personnel who served under local uprising members in the district.
