GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Seven people, including five children, were killed and five others injured in a mortar shell attack in southern Ghazni province on Sunday, an official said.
Wahidullah Jumazada, the governor spokesperson, told Pajhwok Afghan News mortar shell landed on a crowd of people in the Nawabad locality of Ghazni City, the provincial capital.
He said the incident happened in the afternoon. Four children are also among injured who had been shifted to Civil Hospital.
