LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Two Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed and two others wounded when a car bombing hit their check-post in the Greshk district of southern Helmand province, an official said on Tuesday.
Omar Zwak, the governor’s spokesman, confirmed the attack but was unaware of casualties.
He said the explosives-packed vehicle struck an ANN security check-post in Atashak area at around 8:00pm on Monday night.
On the other hand, 215th Maiwand Military Corps confirmed the attack and said two ANA soldiers were killed and two others wounded.
The Taliban have not yet commented about the overnight bombing.
