205 test positive for Covid-19 country-wide: MoPH

KABUL (MoPH) said on Sunday.

Of the fresh coronavirus cases, 59 were recorded in Herat, 27 in Nangarhar, 18 in Kabul, 17 in Badakhshan, 14 in Balkh, 10 each in Ghazni and Zabul, nine in Bamyan, seven in Kunduz, four in Kandahar, two each in Nimroz, Badghis and Logar and one each in Samangan, Ghor and Parwan provinces.

Five people died from the virus in Kabul, three in Ghazni, two in Nangarhar and one each in Kunduz and Balkh provinces in the past 24 hours, according to MoPH.

The registration of 205 fresh cases took the total tally of coronavirus cases in the country to 43,240, while 35,094 people have recovered from the virus.

The number of deaths from the respiratory disease reached 1,617 nation-wide since the outbreak of the virus.
