KABUL (Pajhwok): Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammad Bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani has hoped for an inclusive Afghan peace process that ensures the rights of all Afghans, including women and minorities.
“We look forward to an Afghan peace negotiation that will put an end to violence and meet the aspirations of the Afghan people of peace and security. But it will not be achieved without ensuring the rights of all Afghan people, including women and minorities”, al Thani said during his speech to UN Security Council.
“We consider ourselves an international partner ready to do anything to help Afghanistan achieve stability and security”
He said Qatar renewed its continued solidarity with and support of the Afghan people in reaching national accord, and comprehensive and sustainable peace that regains security and stability the Afghans deserve in order to guarantee honorable living following decades of fighting.
