KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Sunday announced forming 188 mobile teams to offer health services to coronavirus patients.
The teams comprising of three persons each have been formed in Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Bamyan and Daikundi provinces, the ministry said in a statement.
Public Health Minister Dr. Ahmad JawadUsmani termed the formation of mobile teams a major step forward in curtailing coronavirus.
The teams would provide mobile services to patients at their houses and would take care of coronavirus patients having weak symptoms.
He said the formation of mobile teams would help reduce pressure on state and private hospitals.
Usmani urged people to wear masks and to fully cooperate with MoPH in curtailing the spread of coronavirus.
