KABUL (Pajhwok): Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Nader Mohmand was laid to rest in Kabul on Friday — a day after he was stabbed to death.
Relatives said the athlete was killed by unidentified attackers at his flat in the Shah Shahid area of Kabul on Thursday evening.
His father Mohammad Ajan Mohmand, meanwhile, asked police to investigate his son’s murder from all possible angles.
Neighbors rushed to his flat after, but they found the MMA fighter’s body in a pool of blood, according to a private TV channel.
