Police arrest notorious robber Nasim Sag

KABUL (Pajhwok): First Vice President Amrullah Saleh said on Monday that police had arrested notorious robber Nasim Sag.

Saleh said police had achieved a lot in Kabul and 30 policemen would be honored soon.

He said among other achievements, police arrested Sultan aka Nasim Sag in the 13th district of Kabul on Sunday.

The VP also announced starting work on a plan to prevent the assassination of prosecutors and other government officials and employees in Kabul.

According to Saleh, five vehicles were stolen in Kabul in the past 24 hours but police \recovered a number of other stolen vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry said in a statement that police had arrested 15 people in connection with criminal activities during operations in different parts of Kabul

The suspects were arrested in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 15th and 17th districts of Kabul city as well as in Shakardara district.
