2 people injured in Kabul explosion

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least two people were wounded on Wednesday morning when a magnetic bomb hit a vehicle in Kabul, an official said.

Police spokesman Ferdos Faramarz said that a Hilux type vehicle was struck by the magnetic bomb in 500-Family area in limits of 11^th police district at 6:34.

He said two individuals were injured in the incident and evacuated to hospital for medical treatment.

According to another report, unidentified gunmen shot dead prosecutor Hasmatullah Daqiq Malikzada in Khwaja Boghra area of 15^th police district on Tuesday.

Police spokesman told Pajhwok two hours after the murder of Malikzada, two suspected killers named Mujtaba and Mohammad Khalid were detained connection with the murder during two separate operations in limits of 10^th and 2^nd police districts.

He said the cases of the detainees would be referred to Attorney General Office after preliminary investigation.
