PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): British High Commissioner Dr. Christian Turner and to Pakistan army chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa have discussed the Afghan peace process.
Matters of mutual interest and the overall regional security situation were discussed at the meeting that took place in the garrison town of Rawalpindi on Thursday.
The diplomat appreciated the Pakistan Army’s role in the Afghan peace process. They also stressed the need for maintaining peace and stability in the region.
