KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Four civilians were killed, including two children, on Monday when a roadside bomb ripped through a rickshaw in the Arghandab district of southern Kandahar province.
The blast took place at around 12:30pm in the Bodai area of Arghandab district, Kandahar police spokesman Jamal Barakzai told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the improvised explosive device struck a civilian vehicle in the area, killing four people on board.
He said operations were underway in the area and the landmine had been planted by Taliban militants.
But the Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
