US forces must exit Afghanistan: Pedram

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan’s National Congress Party (NCP) leader says US troops have to exit the region.

Abdul Latif Pedram, speaking to Iran’s government-run news agency, urged all countries to oppose America’s military presence in the region.

He told IRNA:  “We have been fighting against the occupation (of our country) for years and will continue to do so.”

Pedram stressed the US forces must leave Afghanistan in, otherwise, the Afghan people would force them out.

He accused the US of blocked Iran’s access to medicine in the name of sanctions, hampering the nation’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
