KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Four people were killed and eight others injured in a roadside bomb blast in southeastern Khost province on Tuesday, officials said.
The blast took place shortly after noon in front of an Afghan National Army (ANA) patrol vehicle the Yaqubi town of Sabari district.
A security source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News that four people, including an ANA lieutenant, were killed and seven others, including an ANA soldier, were injured in the blast.
On the other hand, Khost Public Health Director Dr. Habib Shah Ansari said only two injured people were taken to hospital from the scene.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
