Father, son suffocate due to gas leak in Pakitka

SHARANA (Pajhwok): A father and his son died of suffocation due to leakage of gas in the Yousafkhel district of southeastern Paktika province last night, police said on Wednesday.

The man’s wife had fallen into coma, deputy police spokesman Lal Mohammad Aseri told Pajhwok Afghan News.

An official at the civil hospital in Sharana, the provincial capital, said they had been delivered two dead bodies and a woman in coma.

The incident occurs months after two children, two women and a man, all from the same family, died of suffocation due to gas leak.
