CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead civil society activist Ferashta Kohistani and her brother Shahram on Thursday in the Hisa-e-Awal district of central Kapesa province, an official said.
Police Spokesperson Abdul Shaeq Shorash said the incident happened at around 5:00pm in the Gulgondai locality. She was shot dead by motorcyclists.
No group claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
The killing of Ferashta comes just days after she in her facebook page wrote that she was not having pleasant days and her life was moving towards difficulties and she was living in anxiety and fear.
“I often approached the Ministry of Interior, crime branch chief and NDS head that I am under serious threat but they did not paid attention to my worries,” she wrote.
