MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): At least four people have been killed in a traffic accident on Hairatan highway in northern Balkh province, an official said on Sunday.
Adil Shah Adel, the provincial police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place late on Saturday.
He said that all those killed in the collision between a car and a truck were young men aged between 25 and 35 years.
Adel added Hamid Rozi, son of former Herat police Chief Abdul Majeed Rozi, was among the dead.
