4 Agriculture Unions in Kunar get tractors, other tools

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Agriculture Unions in four districts of eastern Kunar province received one tractor each among other several machines, an official said Thursday.

Kunar Agriculture Department Head Zia-ur-RahmanMomand said each union was given one tractor, a Zarang vehicle, a generator and a bag sewing machine in Narang, KhasKunar, Sarkano and Asadabad City.

He said the equipment valued 3.5 million afs and had been provided by the World Food Organisation.

The equipment would support farmers in cultivation, harvest collection and prevention of yield wastage.
