KABUL (Pajhwok): Five Afghan citizens were killed in a collision in Turkey, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said on Monday.
A statement from the ministry said a vehicle carrying Afghan refugees veered off the road in DoGhoz Bayazid area of Aghri province.
Five Afghan citizens were killed in the accident, said MoFA, which extended its condolences to the bereaved families.
The statement added the Afghan embassy in Ankara would investigate the accident and facilitate transfer of the bodies, treatment of the wounded and provision of aid to the victims’ kin.
