KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan has overtaken Bangladesh in the latest Test rankings by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday.
As Afghanistan rose to 9th spot, Bangladesh was relegated to 10th place in Test rankings, which were released today.
For the first time ever, New Zealand climbed to the top position after beating Pakistan by an inning and 176 runs in the second Test. The Kiwis made a clean sweep in the two-match series.
Afghanistan has won 57 rating points from the three matches to overtake the Tigers, who earned only 55 rating points in their last 17 matches.
